Hi - I have created a text box with two buttons that when you click on either up or down the text scrolls. This is the action code I used which I found on the net.

on (release) {
bio.scroll+=1;
}

But, what I really want my 'up' 'down' buttons to do is when you click, or roll ever them the text smoothly scrolls. At the moment it is very jerk as it only moves on each click. Would love a suggestion. Thanks - HAMM

you could use something along the lines of,

onMouseOver set a variable (e.g. over) to equal one, and onMouseout set it to 0.

Then, use an onEnterFrame to check if that variable =1, and if it does, bio.scroll+=1; else bio.scroll+=0;
