Flash and Shockwave Forum

I'm looking to create a kinda standalone flash player with an interface (play, pause, stop, volume control buttons) that streams video clips. I've not been able to uncover a great deal of information on it, I understand you use a program like Sorenson Squeeze to create .FLV files, but how do I go about creating the Flash player?

you need to export you flash moive as a flash projector. This basically exports the flash player along with you movie, so it can run from cd etc

So is the Flash Projector export option a feature of Flash MX 2004? I can't find any inof on it in MX. I tried exporting some .flv files using Sorenson Squeeze but nothing on this earth will play them, not even Flash MX!
