Online game target file size

I am designing an online flash game (USA primary market but will also be global).

What are you target game filesizes?

Who is the audience. That's the only way to know who's willing to wait for a download and who's not.

Very diverse target. No particular market.

Let me ask another question?

How do you keep peoples attention through the download process?

With some flash movies I have seen some great little games like defender or asteriods that can load quickly while your main game downloads. My question is how intracate is the game. I would look at some of the games on shockwave to see the playability verses download size. If it is an intracate game then the file size can be larger.
