Well bravo! With more than 3 000 messages in it already, I trust this forum will be a success.
Now, who will be it's moderator? Someone must keep all those SEO guys out! :)

Great addition. Shed some weight from the graphics forum.

Flash and Shockwave are two topics that I know almost nothing about and cannot claim to be very interested in, but I can easily see that there is good sense in creating this forum.
1. It will be much more easy for interested members to find existing threads that already deal with questions that they might want to ask.
2. It will be a much more visible fact that you can discuss Flash and Shockwave at Webmaster World. (Creating this new forum actually is a piece of SEO!) There is reason to hope that this fact will attract new members.
I hope that Brett will find a competent moderator.

Thank you, Brett.
Just what I need - another forum full of stuff I don't know, yet. I was happily ignoring these threads when part of the other fora.

Great. This will now be my new home!

I think this is an excellent idea - producing intelligent/usable swf's is a toil of time consuming love for most flash designers - I think they need there own forum just so I don't have to try to understand it.
Simple actionscripting is about my limit for now, but the projects looming in the near to far distance mean I will no doubt be found lost and confused in here before too long.
