So i've been building a loading screen for a flash intro to a site i'm working on, and I decided to have the flashing "Loading" resolve itself to a "start" button. Everything works great running it straight off of my machine, but when i upload it to the web, it takes a nosedive and just sits there displaying frame 1 of the animation. I don't seem to have any of the actionscripting wrong, since it works just fine before upload, but it's not working in the only place I need it to! Any ideas on what this could be?

Weird -- i'm pretty sure it's not the download time, i'm on broadband,(isn't that the point of having a short animation play while you wait?) and it's been sitting on that page for about 20 minutes while i've been tooling around this board lookin at stuff. (thanks for the welcome!)
Andy, what browser are you using? For that matter, what kind of connection do you have? Obviously this is good news if it works for you, but i don't want to alienate other people out there who might have the same problem. This is the first flash movie i've tried publishing, so i'm treading on all new ground here. Thanks for the help guys.
Just had a similar problem myself. The flash was working fine locally, but when I uploaded to the server and tested the page it stalled at the 4th frame and stayed there. I tested it on another computer on the same network, and it was fine. Now, after a ten minute wait and reloading the page, it's fine.
