Need a asp.net + mysql forum source code
Need the template for this kind of source code

Hi there,

Can anyone guide me where can i get a asp.net(vb) backed by mysql discussion forum code or template or files. One with the basic search will do. I am planning to build a forum cum online exchanger on my winxp machine. I already run through a lot of asp.net training (hey, i paid for my training). I want to sharpen my skill. At the same time, i want to host this kind of website.

I already thought of running the website on other server but i think it is not safe and other server might be down and influence the performance of the whole idea.

Of course for the part of exchanger on my website...I will think of the coding myself. Hopefully I can share this code to the public in the future.....

Interesting request, it seems like most ASP.NET offerings use Access or MSSQL. I don't know of any offhand, but I'd start by searching script repositories like hotscripts.com in the ASP.NET category for forum/bulletin board scripts. You may find what you are looking for.

It is available. I have seen it before. Can't remember the site. Search around. You might find it.
