How to utilize a community's members as recruitment agents
| 7:53 pm on Jan 19, 2006 (gmt 0)|
How do you guys utilize your members to recruit new ones?
Lets share experiences...
Examples on how "we" do it:
- Personalised url/profile/webpage (http://www.domain.com/username)
- Invitation function to invite friends to join the community.
- Prompting/suggesting members to link back to us / slash their url.
- SEO on member data
(for instance the member addresse + relevant keyword, member names (we get some interesting people from time to time), member interest + relevant keywords.

It's an old one: we send to members regular email bulletins that are interesting/relevant enough to forward around to colleagues. This brings in a lot of new members for us.
