I'm considering adding a forum to my site. Probaly the discusware script.

My site has good rankings and plenty of visitors. It is only arond 80 pages and is all in html.

My questions.
What would be the best way to incorporate a forum into the site without risking the dreaded sandbox?

1/ Just go ahead and create a directory mysite.com/forum/

2/ Create a subdomain forum.mysite.com

3/ Place the forum on a new domain and use iframe to display it on the current site?

i've not seen any documented cases of any of those methods slapping a site into sandbox, so I wouldn't worry about it. Just do what's going to be best for you and your users. I'd go for mysite.com/forums - if you use Cpanel you can get that to be exactly the same thing as forums.mysite.com anyways!
