I've got a snitz forum which doesn't seem to be as well indexed by google as it could be. Most of the results of a site:www.mysite.com topic_id are URL only listings.
I think this may be a duplicate content type penalty.
GoogleGuy mentioned the standard topic_id variable shouldn't be a problem [webmasterworld.com] to get the page indexed.
I've hacked the asp a bit to get my titles and h1's displaying topic titles as I wanted, and enabled a page 1,2,3 <a href> link to complement the drop down for spiders, but I think the fact that the "reply"/"reply with quote url" displays almost identical content as the thread URL causes a problem (especially post allergra).
Has anyone got a snitz forum running that doesn't show the whole thread on the reply page?
(perhaps as WebmasterWorld, just the first post....or only the reply box) or any suggestions for a migration from snitz (to an other SE asp/asp.net friendly forum)?
