Help! Error in adding a new Forum in phpBB

 4:39 pm on Feb 9, 2005 (gmt 0)

Hello to everyone. I was assigned to create a forum for our org and i used phpnuke 7.5 which uses phpBB . I am quite unfamiliar with the forum admin commands but i have succesfull set it up, but with some errors . I would like to consult anyone who might give me idea on this.
1. I add a new Category and a forum. It works fine. But when i added a new forum in the category through the admin page, the error displayed in the index of the forum is:

Could not query forums information
SQL Error : 1 Can't create/write to file '/var/tmp/#sqla6_2c5_0.MYI' (Errcode: 13)
SELECT f.*, p.post_time, p.post_username, u.username, u.user_id FROM (( nuke_bbforums f LEFT JOIN nuke_bbposts p ON p.post_id = f.forum_last_post_id ) LEFT JOIN nuke_users u ON u.user_id = p.poster_id ) ORDER BY f.cat_id, f.forum_order
Line : 178
File : /usr/local/www/data-dist/nuke/html/modules/Forums/index.php

2. In the Index of the forum, a there is a login area but it doesnt working. the error seems to to say that the login page has a wrong path.

What shall i do? is there any setting in the in the configuration i have missed or erroneously set-up? I will be glad to have assiatnce with my problems. Many thanks

have you tried asking on the phpbb and phpnuke sites?

Im sure you could find more relevant answers there.
