I am here in a time of partial desperation. I am trying to upload a site I made in Dreamweaver to a server. Originally, when I edited the site with Frontpage, all I would have to do was type in a username and a password then I can edit it. Since then, I have swiche dto a Mac and there is no option to edit with Dreamweaver when I go to the site. What do I do. I tryed to load the files onto frontpage but they look terrible. Instead of looking how they should, there are mising pictures and stuff. Please help. Thanks.

Look at the help in DW for publishing your site, or ftp or webdav.

You will have to use FTP to log into the website, download the files, edit them locally and them upload them back to the website using FTP. In the future when you need to make changes, make them first on the local copy and then upload the altered pages to the website.

But you should have been maintaining a local copy of your website with FrontPage. Making changes to a live website is never a good idea.

Thanks. I got the situation under control. I was given a "takeover job" from some guy who only did it that way and had no idea what ftp was, let alone the ftp address and password. Once I got him to tell me the host, I was able to figure things out and now the site is up and running. Thanks for your help.
