|Only external links in google|
how to make a query?
Probably a stupid question -- how do I query Google for a list of external links to a site?
If I follow the link from info:sitename.com or type in link:sitename.com I get too many internal links from the site itself, impossible to see real links.
"link:sitename.com -site:sitename.com" does not work -- shows no results.
What else can I do?
Bump. So, apparently the question is not that stupid. Anybody knows a solution?
Google doesn't show every backlink to a site. It shows just a sample of them.
Well, right, I know. I'm interested in _reducing_ the amount of what they show.
For instance try link:webmasterworld.com -- top of every page is occupied by internal links. How to get rid of them?
link: www.mysite.com -site:www.mysite.com
Notice the space after "link:".

Hope it helps.
