can anyone corroborate this is legit?

Have to reload Firefox which is normal.
On the right-click on viewed-page menu, a new option shows as "SEOpen >".
All results open in a new tab.
HTML validation will NOT work from non-public IP addresses. i.e. the SEO plug-in sends the client IP, so the internal IP address is used. (In my case 10.) so it will not validate.
Legit per se. But some of the tools go to his/her web site, and there is advertisement on it. For example the "Site Link Analyzer", "Keyword Density".
The "Page Size Checker" goes to searchengineworld
WHOIS to dnsstuff, etc.
Seem to work. Still checking to see if there is any trojans in it...

that is the bit I was worried about :)

well ran it so far for 20 mins or so, nothing that shows traffic from the browser/plug-ins other then expected stuff.
Of course it could be just sleeping...

It's my extension. No trojans or anything ugly, but I guess there's no reason to take my word for it.
None of the links in the extension go to any of my own pages. This is my first extension attempt, so I had to use tools where the url you are visiting is passed as a parameter in the tool's url which limits the tools I can use significantly. The PR tool is particularly flaky (no offense to the site).
A fair criticism might be that it is just a bunch of bookmarklets in a right-click menu... I'm learning more about extensions, so hopefully I'll be able to turn it into something useful.
If you find any bugs or want to suggest a feature shoot an email to the address found on the link provided in the original post.

Looks good so far. Just keep working on it. You might want to aks the owners/webmasters of the different tools for approval though.

flood6, appreciate the note. So far, I have not seen anything wrong with your app. I do like the fact that it opens in a new tab instead of a popup... That might be my setting..

I just released 0.4. New features include:
- MSN Backlinks
- Pages in MSN Index
- Improved Yahoo and Google "site:" searches
- Whois now uses whoisDOTsc
- Google Translate to English
- Google Related
- Slightly improved PageRank check
- Cleaner code
Because it came up earlier, I also wanted to disclose that the new PR Check tool is hosted on one of my sites now. The tool featured in previous versions broke.
You can download 0.4 and read more at the link provided in the original post.
Thanks for everyone's support. Mods, if announcing updates in this thread is inappropriate, let me know and I'll certainly stop.
