I'm currently busting out around 6 unique articles a day for my site and I'm exploring all possibilities of exposure.
now how about blogs? what way should i go about setting up a blog in conjunction with the articles i write? could i just duplicate the article content? i wouldn't want to do that if it would hurt my site from an SEO perspective.
I think that duplicate content is a bad idea. Out of two pages with (almost) the same content one should be expected to perform significantly worse than the other in search engines. There are even some people who claim that there is a duplicate content penalty though I have not seen this proved.
I would consider it a far better idea to make some degree of diversification. Put some of your articles on your main website and others on a blog.
