Optin Email Newsletter Delivery Problems

We have an optin newsletter that goes out weekly. Lately lots of subscribers haven't been getting it because of what must be spam filters on their ISPs end. We get our test copies fine as our email addresses have no spam filtering on them.

What can be done to get the newsletter through?

Its all text based ie. no html is in it.

you have to look at the domain names that are in your database...

sometimes it depends on your own domain name's reputation...

there are some sites that have white hat status and use it to become email broadcasters...

email broadcasting is a very delicate busines...

Has anyone had much success getting around the spam filters by using Constant Contact?
