msg:370062 | 8:19 pm on Sep 20, 2004 (gmt 0) | My boss asked me to check for broken links. So I ran Xenu and found/fixed the broken links in the site. Now it seems I missunderstood my boss. He wants to know what keyword searchs in what SE give a broken link..... is that possible/? If so, how would someone check for that? I can't see it being possible..... Thanks for any help!

One method would be to pull the server log (e.g. for the last onth), grep for 403s and 404s and make a list of the referrer fields of these lines. Then you have a list of the bad links that at least one user has followed in that time period.
