Hi friends,

I have a client who is an electronic shop owner. He wants to display all his products
in his website with a user friendly navigation and advanced search options with an advanced filtering capabilities like Items, Brand, Size, Price.. etc..

He is not looking for E-commerce transaction now, but he wants his customers should be able to place orders through DDís or Check

I never handled any Dynamic site also I donít have any programming knowledge. As per my Idea we can do it through Dream weaver,
Interdev with MS-Access as back end, taking the programmers help

I want to know is there any other best way to achieve the task... which is simple and reliable for future updates or changes and with out any programmers help

Is it possible to do it with Dream weaver Ultradev, and MS-Access Data base or are there any tools or products readily available in net to make such a Products based Dynamic site..

Any suggestions will be of great help...

Thanks and Regards
Neni

welcome to webmasterworld

you could try [mcart.com...]

they have a free asp cart that will do what you want, i've trialed it locally although i've never used it on a live site,

the application builds a shopfront from the database with various options/filters, you could then add this shop to his site.

for various (pay) upgrades you can add extra functionallity, but i think the basic version would suit your needs in this case.

ultradev would be fine too, although you might need the ultracartii addon ($99) and it takes some time to wade through the 'sample site' to work out how it works.

in both cases substitute the checkout page with details of how to send a check etc.
