Email not comming through from 2 other domains Dudermont msg:387658 4:13 am on Jul 20, 2004 (gmt 0) There are two firms that deal with one of my clients and every time either of them send an email to my client it returns a delayed notification, then a failed notification a couple days later.
I had them forward these 2 bounced emails to me, so I know there email works fine.
Both places say that this only happens when sending to my client, and it is on every email that goes to my clients office. (anything that ends in @example.ca)
I was thinking that there is posibly a dns server with there old ip that both of these firms get routed through, but I really have no clue.
The only thing that I can think to try tomorrow is get them to ping the domain tomorrow and see if the correct ip shows up. If it does then I got nothin.
Any other ideas?

No ideas out there? kwngian msg:387660 2:26 am on Jul 22, 2004 (gmt 0)
One suggestion is to delete the zone information of your site from your client's previous provider's DNS server so that it will not assume that it is the authoritative DNS servers for your client's site. top5jamaica msg:387661 11:35 am on Jul 22, 2004 (gmt 0)
i have this particular problem too in that email from sites that are all hosted by a specific company don't come through to one of my normal isp addresses. dunno why it seems that hosts server and my isp can't 'talk' to each other and no one seems to have a clue about a possible solution.
