Where are you getting the content from? Create an RSS feed using that data.

I'd rather not use RSS since the people that will want to use the ticker on their sites won't be savvy enough for that. I need the ticker to be simple copy and paste for those that choose to use it. Any other ideas?

Give them simple IFRAME code linking to a small page on your site.
