Analysing a websites size
analyse website size

 10:55 am on Jan 30, 2004 (gmt 0)

Hi All,

I've been searching for a tool that will tell me the size of any given website, i.e the number of pages on the site. Does anyone know one?

As ranking does depend on the size of a site I think its important to analyse the size of your competitors sites, what do you think?

Cheers, Lee.

In Google site:domain.**** tells you about the current state of spidered/indexed pages - could be a starting point.

Try Xenu Link Sleuth.

Good suggestion. Don't be surprised though if it does not run on the site in question, some don't permit the process with their robots file due to bandwidth and other concerns.
