Could this just be a watermark the MS put in to beautify the web folder view and allow you to see that it is a web folder and differentiate it from other folders?

We also have it in a photo folder.
I tried moving one of our web pages into an admin folder and the graphic did not appear.
What I need to know is if this is viral?

Nothing. It's like a ghost immage or background.
It does not move when you use the bar to go up and down the page.

I'm strongly inclined towards this being XP putting watermarks on special folders, like image folders and web folders...

Yes it is, i also get a lovely double-clef watermark in My Music folders in XP. Its not Viral.

ahhh duh, why didnt i just go and look at my webs folder?
yeah its just windows xp i have the same thing on there nothing to worry about.
I think its a monitor thats got a circle with alternating black and white sections displayed on it.
