Why would someone do this?

I have "strange" happenings on my site!
Why would someone attempt to access the following pages?:
I run on a linux server anyway - this looks like some kind of hacking attempt for a windows server, to me!?

I see these requests often paired with valid ones and take them to be a user with a virus on their computer.
I did wonder about ways of alerting the user but expect it wouldn't be easy to open a window or modify other requested pages to alert them.

I guess I don't have to worry. Don't use frontpage (why would I?!) and the system is (I believe) very secure!
