Hey, Mark is this a site critique? Kind of like 'What's Cool' -except well, in the
opposite direction? mark_roach msg:351921 7:49 pm on Nov 7, 2000 (gmt 0)
Interesting you should say that, but we once thought about creating such a directory, even got the name bago****e.co.uk. The thought of being sued by irate site owners put us off though ! mnw msg:351922 9:46 pm on Nov 7, 2000 (gmt 0)
Had a client who received a somewhat similar e-mail (he wasn't going to the dogs, his was aeronautical collectibles). I did some digging (since I had never submitted his site to this directory) and found, after reading 10 or 15 pages, that this wasn't a "free" directory afterall. It actually was on the same level as a LookSmart in terms of $$$$ without the traffic.
