research resources

Hi to all

As a newcomer to the world of seo i would like to know if anyone out there could point me in the right direction to finding out more about the search engines and the best way to optimise sites and doorways.

I started off using WPG about 3 months ago and have had moderate success getting my sites listed in a few of the major search engines but after reading the posts in this and a few other forums i realise that using WPG is not the only way to get good listings.

I would be more than grateful to you guys if you could help in any way.

thanks in advance guys.

To be honest with you the best way to learn about SE's is to read through these forums.

Be very carefull about using WPG doorways, just use the page critic and produce your own and try to leave the blue line out :)

Hi knoxy,

There's a little link at the top right of the page I visit everyday. ;)

Hi knoxy,

I had / have the same problem as you have. There are a lot of sources claiming to give good info but first you have to pay, then you can see what they really offer. To avoid spending thousands of dollars, always look for a 100% mony back guarantee.

I think a lot of knowledge is gathered but never centralized or is used commercially. I think there is no really super SEO course around, apart from all the beginner's stuff.

If anyone knows a good resource apart from the ones mentioned above, please give notification.

aahh - the blue line. I miss that little guy. So cute, so compact and ready to say what ever you told him to on a mouseover.

Good times, Good times.

Best I can determine, you're AT one of the best resources for 'super SEO' (I have no financial interest or ownership in these forums, btw.)
