Power failure brings chaos to European websites…

It has been reported a few hours ago that one of the major datacenters in Europe has been victim of 3 power failures bringing down thousands of websites throughout Europe.

According to the AFP, the Redbus interhouse datacenter based in Paris has experienced three major power cuts; causing thousands of sites mainly based in France to be inaccessible.

If you have been experiencing problems with certain websites now you know why!

Those with datacentres carrying generator backup systems I presume are unnaffected?

According to the manager of Redbus, the datacenter has been running of power generators for two days now and should be switching back to regular power later on today...
