Can a domain ever be revived?

I presume the word "Permanent" in 301 re-direct means something... My question would be, what if you use a 301 to re-direct from one domain to another.

Can you ever revive a domain after using a 301 re-direct? For use, or for sale?

Thanks in advance,

Jane-O

Hi,

Why not just use '302 Found' which is basically a temporary redirect
