Hi all,

What kind of tools can unzip these compressed files on the hosting server?

It would be faster to send zipped files to the server, and then to unzip it on the server.

Thanks in advance.

Is your server Linux/Unix or Windows? In Linux/Unix there is an
unzip utility you can use to decompress the ZIP archives via a script.

If you have shell access, Putty works great.

The problem on *my* server, when I send .zip files, they are all set by default to CHMOD 666, I believe it is.

But it's easy to change the file permissions with putty with a *.* command

The server is Unix, what should I search in Google for the unzip unity? I completely have no clue.
