|Different Sites, Different Content, Same Style|
is this possible without getting in trouble?

I currently own a website and I post news about mobile phones only. I got an idea of a cool domain and want to start a different site, more news, about tech stuff. (phone news will link back to my first one)
I want to keep the same style as in the previous site. Will I get in trouble for this? The content of the two sites will not be the same, it will only look alike.

Since I started using PHP to do my sites, all my websites have looke the same -- mostly because it doesn't matter much that they should look different. I think the only time it would raise an eyebrow is if you're trying, for some reason, to hide the fact that the sites are being built and managed by the same person...

The 2 domains that I have are on the same host and the content that will appear on www.second.com, will also be available on the first site at www.first.com/second/

Take care, make sure the content looks alike and is not identical!
As said above, using same style is not a problem at all.
I am not a profesionnal, but the problem here is that both of your sites are at the same host. Check if they have the IP number! To safely realise what you want to do, you better have totally different host I think.

I'd rather sites shared style rather than content.
A while back, one site was appearing three times in the top ten for some Google searches. It used three domain names and three styles but all the content was identical. Thankfully, it's nowhere to be seen now.

the domains have the same name servers.. my host said that this won't become a problem but I don't really trust them, that's why I came here.
I used the addon feature to add the domain to this host. but I had no idea that the content will end up to appear on both sites.
