Don't forget..... those small things you notice . This small things are the one that can lead us to great search engine ranking.

--------------------------------------------------

I the same website for about 6 times. index/main/home/default/ .htm/html and it works great. I also use IP address for website submission many a times. But I found this note at altavsita submission page tonight when I was submitted by IP. I am sure you guys are aware of this this, but I used IP address submission after a long time, so it is kinda new to me. I needed something to start this topic. So don't beat me up ,,,,,,, lol

You have entered the following URL:
[xxx.xx.xxx.xxx...]

Thank you for your submission. Your URL will be submitted for processing.

Tip!
You have submitted a page using an ip address. However, using a real domain name will often result in a higher ranking.

If you have questions about your submission, please contact us.

I love this kind of tips.

Not only will a real domain result in a higher ranking, a domain name can actually get indexed for more than 30 days. IP addresses have a shelf life of about 30 days in Alta. I've tried many different IP's and they get nuked out of alta very often.
