I think its no coincidence that AV's site has changed and then a few days later they've finally gotten to scootering... do you think something big is in the works over there?

The rumors are that AV will be going to a paying system similar to Inktomi's......I guess we'll have to wait and see if it comes true.....

Actually, I do remember AV saying that they were going to restructure this year, so it doesn't surprise me one bit that the scootering followed a redesign. And from teh sound of the conference, they were going to a pay to play plan.

We will see.

Pay for play seems likely, everyone seems to be doing it somehow... I just hope they try get rid of those dead pages that are seen throughout their results and get their relevancy back to where it was a few years ago... maybe that's the reason for this two month scooter delay...

Where do you think AV is headed? I still need them to list me because they get so much traffic, I just hope they're going back to what they were back in the day... the best search engine on the net...
