| Has Google become PFI?

And other than optimization, you can engage in less than fair tactics by buying links from big websites solely to increae your page rank and depth of crawl. So, to validate his point, Google is not PFI, however the results are not untainted by commercialism.

| Master of the understatement! Google is NOT PFI and we are getting into semantics if we try to say that it is. Here's why. If you pay a third party for a link you have no guarantee that their PR will be maintained. If Google decides that they are history so is your PR. If you pay a search engine or directory for inclusion you are guaranteed to be included as long as you keep paying. End of story. (But then you all knew that anyway - didn't you?)
