In mid January we decided to not renew our Inktomi listing with Network Solutions because their site was almost useless, no way to check anything. So we let it die and about 2 weeks later signed up our index page and about 12 others with positiontech.

We have never, appeared in Inktomi, we certainly are not appearing in Yahoo and doing a search through Yahoo or Hotbot for our URL returns nothing...

Are we being penalized? If so, I am going to contact our credit card company and reverse the charges as a service not rendered. I am sure that would ban me forever from Inktomi, but it appears we already are. So at least I'll get my $$ back.

BTW, Netsol is no longer offering this service and now refers people to positiontech. Here is a snippet of the email I rec'd :

<Sorry, no email quotes of any kind - see Terms of Service [webmasterworld.com]>

Any thoughts on my being banned?

Welllll,
Read a few of the other threads in this forum and you'll figure it out.
I think you got stuck in the middle. We were with Netsol for almost a year and got orphaned out to positiontech. Like you said, the first day or two the link was not working (when I e-mailed netsol about it the cow was already out o d' barn and all I got was a nonsense form response), but now it seems to be working. You can also go directly to positiontech home page and log in with your old password or type in your Netsol pw and ask for it to send you a password which worked for me.
As far as having the PFId URL listed, we had the same problem since the day they transferred, we disappeared off the face of Inktomi. Once I got in to my new PT account I noticed they hadn't been "refreshed" (spidered I guess) since 2/25. So much for every other day. Doesn't anyone deliver what they promise anymore? I wrote just today to PT but haven't heard back yet. I plan on switching my Ink PFI listings to Lycos submit as soon as they run out at Netsol/PT.
