Inktomi using Yahoo to help in rankings?

I know we all figure that yahoo will switch to inktomi...and that perhaps when Yahoo does this, we may guess that being in the Yahoo Directory may help your listing in this new Yahoo/Inktomi SERPS
....but does anyone think that right now, Inktomi results (hotbot) are influenced by Yahoo listings? (being listed in yahoo gives boost?)

I doubt it. I think it's going to be full fledged Inktomi results. If Yahoo! didn't want to use Inktomi pure results, I doubt Yahoo! would've bought them in the first place.

There's a possibility that Yahoo! Directory might help as far as link popularity (as DMOZ does with Google), but I wouldn't count on it.
