There is no article - it is a hugely popular word/phrase which is used for mature content. All the sites in the top 500 or so results with a couple of exceptions were using the word/phrase in a mature content - the exceptions are just flukes or the same phrase in a non-mature context. There are 170,000 returned - none are mature in the top 1000. All sites - including PFI sites have been shifted out/down which contain the word in the mature context. Inktomi have given no warning about this - and for those poor souls PFI ing for these words (hundreds of URLS) - consider yourselves being owed money by your inclusion provider - because the service of being removed due to the words is not part of the terms and conditions. Once again - in the world of the internet, webmasters have zero control of what is going on.

before jumping to major conclusions, lets try and get some official feedback on the situation, either from members or 3rd parties affected by this... Shak

Hi all, I've been reading for quite a while now. This is my first post here. I've been using inktomi PFI for about 2 years. All mature sites. I've had 15 sites in the top 10 listings under major keywords in the "adult" bussiness. Friday all my sites were gone. After looking around I started finding them around #100 plus. From over 1000 uniques a day to 1 or 2 per site. What have they done? Is it something to do with Yahoo!? I've seen this happen before but never this serve. I can fall 20 spots for a day or two, but I think this is something else. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks for letting me rant a bit, outlaw4161

Yes Outlaw - same thing - have been burned badly by PFI on INK this year, and will never PFI again. Glad I spread my sites around the other major SE's or would be in trouble right now.

Yes it almost appears Inktomi doesn't want the paid inclusion money unless your an Index Connect client. I only have about 120 paid pages left in Inktomi now, not even 5% of what I would have if they could offer some stability in their treatment of paid inclusion pages.

Ditto - have been badly burned by having entire PFI sites trashed by Ink and they weren't adult sites. Will never be stupid enough to spend another penny on Ink PFI.
