Not sure if this is new or if it has been covered before. There have been a lot of users complaining that AV redirects them to their specific county version. At the top right there is now a link that allows you to save your preferance. After I set this to USA I type in av.com and no longer get forwarded to uk.altavista.com Page simply goes to altavista.com Nice idea. Mack.

Interesting. Good idea. Hmm. Been awhile since I looked at AV. I can see people liking it. Although the results are a bit off, the search refinement links are a good idea.

Yea I hadn't even been to AV for a while simply because I hate sites that insist on dictating where I search. Who knows. Might be back there more often now. Mack.
