Adding a site to Inktomi

I would like to add a site to Inktomi which would be very similar in design/text to another site i have, in fact it would be a copy but with less text and images and with a slightly different page layout. It would also have totally different meta tags. I intend to keep all other search engine spiders out of the site using a robots.txt file which will ONLY allow the Inktomi robot in. Is this allowed at all. I personally can't see any problem with it.

No problem theoretically, but just in case, you may want to use .htaccess to ban spiders from other SE's.

thanks john. I presume you wouldn't totally trust a robots.txt file to keep all other spiders out.
