My site shows up in the results on LookSmart, but they come from Inktomi. If I search my company name, for obvious reasons it is #1. If I search for main keyword, then it is listed as #28 in the Inktomi results on the 3-rd page. The first page and a half are "reviewed websites". So, do I need to pay to be listed in the reviewed section? If so, will I be charged per click or is it one time fee or both? Thanks!

To be included in the Looksmart reviewed sites will cost you $0,15 per click witha a 1 time set-up fee of $29. the best/only traffic you will get will be MSN traffic, and depending how competitive your industry is, $0,15 a click aint too bad. also you may want to read some other posts on how to submit, what title, description and keywords to choose for Looksmart. This WILL make a serious difference to you getting quality traffic out of Looksmart. Shak (btw, maybe this post should be moved to a more relevant category)

If it is the advice given by Shak is correct however if you have a non commercial site you can get that listed into the Look directory for free through Zeal. If you do have a commercial site might be worthwhile looking at another Looksmart product called The Grub www.grub.org Its very new and will update your own site and index it into the LOOK/Wisenut search engine. Hope that helps
