For a recently optimized site I see some strange results in Pure Inktomi search [169.207.238.189 ].
The site targets three 2-word phrases which are all in the homepage title. (All have their own section deeper down of course).

For my second keyphrase the index page shows up at #4, showing the new title which includes keyphrase #1, 2 and 3.

For the third phrase the index page shows up at #12, showing the same title with phrases 1, 2 and 3. Same page, simply www.thissite.com.

For the main keyphrase it finally shows up at #62! Same page, but showing the old title which doesn't have any of the key phrases.

Is this normal? Could anyone explain?

We did not pay for inclusion. Thanks!

I think the "random result" is normal for Ink - yes. I've seen something similar many times.
