msg:29092 | 4:56 am on Apr 11, 2003 (gmt 0) | When i began my new website,i have used inktomi PFI to include several of my pages in its database. Now thats fine, but i have a site of close to a 1000 pages, and despite inktomi bot being all over my site, only my PFI pages are being included in the database... (on google for example, all of my site is listed and i have a high PR 6). So what should i do? is there any way to have all of my site included without paying for an inclusion for the entire site? or should i just give up on the traffic?:( Thanks

msg:29094 | 6:09 pm on Apr 11, 2003 (gmt 0) | "How long ago? :)" About three months ago, give or take a week:) Anyhow, the reason I asked this question is because I paid for about 6 PFI urls in order to experiment a bit... And up until now, whenever I changed the url the older URL would remain in the index, but in the last few days all of my pages except for those in the PFI have been dropped:(

msg:29095 | 4:56 pm on Apr 14, 2003 (gmt 0) | I have had no problems :) I submitted two url's and one page from each site, I keep swopping them around for other pages on the same site(s) but the ones I exchange are still in the Index? Every time I swop one, it remains in place :) This has been happening since March 3rd ish I have managed to get a few extra pages in this way, or maybe its just a coincidence? Anyone?

| Same situation here. I wish they'd have one price for the whole site, or a maximum number of pages. | whenever I changed the url the older URL would remain in the index |
| Not so for me. When I swap, the old one is removed promptly. I have one site with 3 paid and about 10 free pages, and another site with 2 paid and 1 free. 9 of those 10 free pages showed up as soon as I paid. I wish I knew if it'll pick up more pages from the second site...

When I change the URL, it takes a few days, but the page for the old URL is removed (unless Inktomi has spidered it and included it free since I submitted the original URL). See this thread for other comments about Inktomi PFI and free spidering. [webmasterworld.com...] Beth
