MSN updates their Ink results on a daily basis. From what I've seen their usually pretty much the same as pure INK.. Have you searched for your url on MSN? Does it show up in the Ink results?

Yeah my URL shows up but nothing else! The site is a .org, do you think that could have something to do with it? I have rarely seen .org’s in MSN results. I now fear my submissions have been a waste of money.

If your .org site is a not for profit site you may be able to submit to zeal.com (owned by LookSmart), getting you into the 'web directory sites' section of MSN.

I don't think that the .org would have anything to do with it. Have you done anything that could set off spam filters? I'll second what sem4u said. If your a nonprofit I definitely hit up zeal. A good listing here would trump the Ink listings.

Giddion, depending on the competitiveness of the search phrase there might be a bunch of 'web directory' pages pulled from LookSmart before the Inktomi results. The LookSmart and Ink results are numbered sequentially and unless you happen to see the 'web pages' break you might not notice the split. For example, on one of our keyword phrases LookSmart results account for numbers 1 thru 96, Ink starts at number 97.

I have tried to submit through Zeal, but they refused as the information on my site relates to specific products and although I do not sell the products they still say it breaches guidelines. My pages are optimised but there is nothing to cause concerns with the search engines. I always keep my tactics clean. Good title, description, keyword rich body text (Not too rich though), themed site structure and a number of good incoming links. Most of my key phrases are not competitive, and the MSN web page results kick in almost straight away. I have search through around 250 results to find no mention of my site. I am going to re-optimise my pages this week and see if there is any change. If not, I suppose I will have to pay the money and submit to Looksmart

Giddion, see the rank position for one of your Keywords in Ink pure search and compare it with the position it has in MSN webpages result. If they are the same, you need to re-optimize probably. You could try out a 4-5 word phrase so that you will get a higher rank in Ink and becomes easier to compare it with MSN webpage results.
