It doesn't seem to be anything that should affect us....more of a tool that will allow AV to extract news/content from it's partners in a faster cheaper way. AV really seems to be scraping for money lately......

interesting... it's one way for news providers to get their content fresher on AV, competing with Ink's 48 hour refresh.. as long as you are a partner of course.

On a related matter we were spidered by an av spider called "election2000" last week.

The way I understand it, the OnePage Inc will be taking over the core search algo?

That's not the way I understood it, from this article at least. It sounds like it's more for extracting actual portal content from partner sites (like news stories that appear on an actual AV page).
