Have you verified that it's actually being crawled? If it is, are you doing anything that would terribly upset AV? This definitely isn't normal..

Yup, Scooter/3.3.TF came and visit me today and it didn't change anything to my overall listing.
I heard that AV Trusted Feed spiders crawls only the Title and the Metas. At first i didn't believe it but now that i know that it is Scooter/3.3.TF well now i'm beginning to wonder if this is true here.
That could be the "only" logical solution to my problem since by crawling my page everyday but crawling just the Title and Metas and not the rest of my page it would explain why my page is not going anywhere up or down the serps.
Anyone here have heard of that weird crawling method?

I'd definitely contact the folks who sold you the service and see what they have to say.
One line from the AV PFI FAQ that comes to mind is:
|Every weekday, your pages are visited and refreshed if the content has changed. |
Makes me wonder if their could be some kind of problem with AV realizing that the pages have been updated. (bad file modified dates?)

Ok thanks i will contact InfoSpider.com.
Btw, anyone here have been crawled by Scooter TF and have increased in terms of rankin position or do you had to wait for another Scooter spider to see a difference?
When you think of it it could be logical for them to have a Spider that crawls only the Title because to update so many PFI sites every 24 hrs it could be hard to re-scan every pages everyday and rerank them. Maybe we have to wait for a more deep crawling Scooter spider to do that job once a week or so.
If you know someone that have seen a difference in ranking after the passing of Scooter 3.3 TF please let me know.
Just my 2 cents.

I don't know how much of the AV or any other database is Trusted Feed, but the important thing to remember there is that Trusted Feed is a data feed that "represents" the actual page.
When trying to match the characteristics of the top ranking pages, it would be useless in many cases if the pages used for comparison are part of the Trusted Feed programs. What you see is probably not what the spider is looking at.
If AV Trusted Feed only looks at titles and metas that would seem to be a crazy way to go about building a relevant index, but then again there is probably only so much data that can be put in those fields so it might be easier to keep the feeds honest that way.

I used AV PFI for the 2nd half of 2002. Several pages were being spidered weekly yet they were appearing on page 60 also.
I read somewhere (here I think) that not changing the pages for ages works. After 4 months of not being anywhere, guess whos pages appear at the top of the SERPs for ALL my target phrases? No changes at all had been made for at least 2 months & weekly spidered kept saying hello.
I've just signed up for AV PFI again & same problem now. Nowhere. Am wondering whether to tweak/stick......
My 2p's worth :)

Cool! At last a guy that had the exact weird problem i'm having.
Ok so you too got stuck at page 60 hey...but have you noticed that it was always page 60 or just happened to fall on that page once or twice because for me it's ALWAYS that @#$% page 60 here (from 58 to 64 though)...everytime and no matter what i do to the page content.
Btw, is your site adult related like mine here? If you want to discuss it using sticky mail that would be nice too since you have the answers to my nightmare here.
Thanks johnser at least i know there's some hope for that thing...

Not adult - just bog-standard corporate stuff.
To be honest, I don't know if my pages were on exactly page 60 or not! I just know they were buried so deep they'd never see the light of day :)
Hang in there - Maybe leave 50% of the pages alone & occassionaly tweak the rest - Covers you!
I'm off to bed so Good Nite!

You wouldn't notice any difference in traffic if you were #1.
