Has anyone even questioned who even click on Sponsored sites?

Not me. I avoid them like the plague. I let Google do that for me, not some pay-per-click site. Could it be that the people who are clicking are newbies who don't know sheeet? I noticed sites like MetaCrawler are getting greedy and now placing Overture results on not only the sponsored section but also as part of their reults...as if Overture results are like Google or Yahoo results. Hahaahaha! Overture results are useless. I'm sorry to say the truth here guys.

well they must work or these companies wouldent exist :)
I think there is a line right down the middle when it comes to the internet. People like us who know a fair bit, try to learn about the web and have a good understanding of what is going on. Then there is the idiot factor, the average surfer probably doesnt even knoe what a sponsored link is.

I think I have to agree with Mack, NeoSys. If PPC wasn't working then obviously so many sites wouldn't still be using those companies to display their ads, right? ;)
