My traffic on MSN, looksmart and Iwon have returned for the most part. It appears Inktomi is rebuilding their database.

Not for me - results still penalized from 27th June. All in the big DB (which MSN is back using) but not ranked. However getting some hits from people using search terms in "" - which I suppose is better than nothing at all!

Yep, I see no new changes from the past few weeks. I check canada.com as this gives the dates and I see no movement whatsoever with any newly submitted sites (except below certain "untitled" ranked documents).

Hey Symmetry- Mind if I ask you if those pages that are indexed, how old are those pages? When was the first time you saw them get indexed in Inktomi? And, are they cloaked? I'm starting to wonder if Inktomi decided to be more picky... that's why they pulled the DB down to filter it. Scary thought...

The pages that are ranked are all from this month's submissions and almost none are from the past months.
The pages were just indexed a few days ago.
Of course they are cloaked!

Well, I've had no luck with INK sending traffic for any of my pages. Everything's buried and I only get hits for search phrases of 4 or more words..

Symmetry -- are these pages that were previously in the database but either dropped or buried in results until now? if so, did you resubmit and when, and were they buried or dropped? if they're new pages, were they previously listed/buried/dropped with same content under different URL or are they entirely new (i.e., page content and URL used not previously submitted)?

When did you submit the URLs, how many URLs did you submit, are they scattered over numerous domains, how many URLs per day per domain did you submit, and what method of submission did you use (i.e, by hand, dump truck, collective 3.0, etc)???

Would love to be able to regain some of my INK traffic!!!

Thanks,
-ebess-

I wrote my own program to mass submitt my pages.I submitted hundreds of url's. All have different content spread over 200 domains.

I have been submitting 25 pages a day for 40 domains...currently the spider comes and gets 2 or 3 pages. Some domains have pages disappearing daily. I get a few hits from MSN. Before the big drop I had 16,000 pages in INK and it was 75% of my hits...so it has been a long steep hill to climb.
