Unfortunately if it is up, they dropped every one of our listings. I don't see any signs that it is repaired, at least not for us.

Is there another spider from Ink that actually adds the submissions to the index besides j6000? The reason I ask is we have gotten a few pages in Ink recently and about 3 days after the page comes up I see the j6000 hit that page. How strange is that? Every time without fail that is what's happened.

Another question if I may.. the date that ink shows in anzwers.com, ie: <url> 4724 bytes, 2000/08/06. Is that the date they crawled it, indexed it or the last time it shows I made an update?

Thanks,
Jill

Jilly,

Now I am no expert but I think that date you are seeing is when it was indexed last. I am seeing very large database.

I did a couple of searches on terms I watch, and it all looks the same. What portal are you looking at?

As of about 9:30 pm central time Sunday night - I am not seeing any changes in my MSN searches. But to add insult to injury INKTOMI has dropped over 800 pages from one of our domains. Guess that doesn't really matter considering how deep they are buried in the database.

Here's hoping they hurry up and clean this mess up. I happen to use INKTOMI products as my search engines of choice and at this point they are returning really bad results.

All of our late may submissions are back in MSN and have been stabile for the past two days. Previously all our pages (late May submissions) were OK in all of the other portals we checked
as of 8-16 but they were in and out at MSN.

Ok, there are two different things going on.
1 Whether or not your site(s) are in the db.
2 The new sites ranking poorly thing.
I haven't seen much change in #2.

Hey Littleman, I did a domain check at MSN and can't find any of my pages. So for some reason, some people aren't in the DB as a definite.
