The .com address for Anzwers is not (or is no longer) available for submissions, however the .au address is

[anzwers.com]
[anzwers.au]

Jimmy6,

Thanks for catching that, it's been one of those 1/2 right days all day long...

Steve-
I think the Anzwers's Add URL page is checking the referring page and if isn't the home page, you can't add a URL or something. My submissions haven't gone through since yesterday morning.

Jimmy6,

I just changed the engine.ini file in the collective (Brett's submission program) to the correct .com.au addresses and it took it just fine from my domain. If you can make the same change in your submission software you should be fine.

My questions are: Are they going to remain the best place for submitting to INK and why the web address change for their submissions page...

jimmy6 - You are right. They are checking the referrer page. You can't get the page to load unless you send it the proper referrer. I am sure they are doing this to through off auto-submitters. That should stop about 50% of the submitters out there. I had to hack my own after they had made the change.

Looks like Brett's script was already doing this - so the people submitting to anzerws with the collective never noticed.

Littleman,

Well that answers why the change using Brett's Collective was so seamless and easy. Love his toys...

This does bring up the question of why Anzwers.com is cracking down on submissions or if they actually are.

For us Anzwers has been the quick way in to INK, Canada has been the ify way in, and Hotbot has been the "long, if ever" way in. Would hate to see the Anzwers door close up...

I missed this thread first time around. And it appears that they won't take from the .com page? Only .au?

They won't accept a bookmarked entry to the addurl page either, they give another link to click on.

I think it is pretty clear they are .au only. I've been trying to reg some .au based domains and .com counterparts for nearly a month. They will take the .au ok, but the .com's generate an error, or they never get spidered. I was hoping to get these in Ink since they do have Olympic content on them.

On a related note, are the lines to Aus flooded or what? Why didn't they forsee this and lay in more bandwidth?
