Yeah, go figure! I hold off on doing any AV optimization for several months.. Figure the dust finally has settled, put my strategy into place, optimize till the cows come home, AV updates my initial submissions today, nice rankings across the board, AND THEIR DANGED SERVER NETWORK BITES THE DUST!!!! So now my celebration is minimized cause I can't even look at where my hard work has landed.... :) Last AV click I show hittin the logs is 17:42:00 PST...

Well AV is back up, but it look's like they've fallen back to their index previous to their update this afternoon.... This could only happen to me.... :)

Well AV finally reloaded their update, so things are back to (what is the real definition of NORMAL?).... :)

On a whim, I just went to Alta to check out a few casino-related terms. I was surprised that the number 1 page for "casino" was for casino software! "Gambling" looked very competitive, but then "blackjack" brought up "We're sorry, the server is unavailable". I kept trying different terms, and the server was unavailable about 1 out of 4 times. No consistency on what terms broke the AV bank, however. A second search on blackjack got results, but then "poker" blew it up.

Looks to me like they are using a temp db until they fix the problem. Or maybe it is another BLACK MONDAY!

They've reportedly had some major layoffs over the last week or so. I pray the server mess is not related to that...
