I started getting a lot of 404 traffic to pages I removed a long time ago and INK had dropped them before I did. They were on a domain where we experiment.

Anyway, when INK came back to life those pages were in the and are in the database. There's no way that reflects all the spidering that went on just before the big crash, because those pages were not there to be spidered.

And remember, INK had dropped them log before I took them down...

Anyone else getting any unusual things out of INK???

Steve

Yes. Aol is up to something. Several sites have rocked in and out of the top results three times since last week. Other sites are static rankings.

I've not done any real deal ink work this week, but other referrals are making a come back to what they were mid-june. I can't find anything I've submitted in the last month.

Brett:

I've noticed some odd returns in AOL as well. I had a couple of sites that ranked in the top ten before all of this happened and they are nowhere to be found now. I see a bit of irrelavent information in search returns.

Still a lot of the spam sites that cornered the top 20 in some KW searches, and they seem to be popping in and out of the results. I agree, something's going on. I'm not sure if they are just trying to purge some stuff or if they are just unstable.
