Inktomi have opened up for paid submission. Jim Stob from positionpro.com got the sole rights so far to market and sell the service. With the additional use of the positionpro.com service you get a fantastic set of tools to administer your Inktomi listings.

My most likely scenario -- Inktomi becomes irrelevant. It's almost that way now.

I'm not a very suspicious person by nature, in fact I can be extremely gullible. But I just feel it in my gut -- the last few months of bizarre behavior from INK was an attempt to generate demand for this latest concept. When I remember those fruitless hours I put in just before I woke up and wrote INK off, I get very angry.

If this recent period has been a marketing gambit -- then it's the stupidest marketing gambit ever. Abuse people and then ask them to pay you to stop -- wait a minute, that sounds very familiar, now that I think about it.
