Very Strange Hotbot Results mark roach msg:23494 9:07 am on Oct 18, 2000 (gmt 0) Try this search [ hotbot.lycos.com]
What on earth is going on ????
Where is hotbot getting that description from ?
I spotted this because my site [url= [
...] also appears to have been "highjacked" in the hotbot listings. hotbot.lycos.com
Dodgy DNS entries perhaps, if so why the correct title from some of the sites and only the funny description ?
Yours very confused

Second URL should have read www.champdogs.co.uk [ hotbot.lycos.com]
Note to Brett. I can not edit my posts, it always comes back with an invalid password.

Sorry that was the wrong URL. I will try again. Champdogs [ hotbot.lycos.com].
If I mess this up again, just go to hotbot and search for www.champdogs.co.uk and you will see what i mean :)

Interesting results there are #'s 8-9. I clicked on one of those links and it had the meta description of the webpage, but the page shown was a domain registration service. Upon viewing source, it was in frames and who knows exactly what the heck is going on. I didn't do an ip lookup, but the ip # is there in the source code if you want to do more digging.
